fun, sad, hurty, BUSY week

Sunday-felt UTI coming on. Took massive cranberry and OTC drugs. Felt better. Also, signed up for self-development retreat in Canada. WTF was I thinking? Wonder if I can talk Adam into signing up for it?

Monday- Mailed off laptop to Curt. $91.00, he'd better appreciate this. Virginia Mason staff calls to inform me tubal ligation Dr won't do surgery until I see hemotology dept, for unknown reason. Make appt. Possible yipes. Emancipation Dinner at MAY with Rob and Susan and David. Lovely, lovely people. Glad I'm staying friends with Rob, as he's an angel in geek clothing. Duck curry rocks my world.

Today-Cross Cultural Collaboration class on main campus. More fun than I thought. Why does the area near my girly parts hurt? Why does my lower back hurt? Oh Gawd, UTI has possibly moved into bladder. Went to Company Store for final time. Took 2 hours to get home on bus. LOATHES the Eastside, yes my precious, we does. After I leave Microsoft, I'm ONLY crossing the water to go to Lush, assuming it ever opens. Eastside friends can meet me at Bell Square. Thank Gawd Zeeks has a Tuesday night pizza special. Is red wine medicinal?

Tomorrow-8am appt for UTI test with wonderfully prompt PCP. Work, leave early for TEARS FOR FEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd happily bus to the Eastside for another year to hear Curt sing 'Trees' but that song is highly doubtful. Still, I've only wanted to see them since I was a wee shinylizard.

Thursday-wow, nothing going on except work. In Issaquah. Maybe I'll leave early and get a Top Pot donut to celebrate. Hopefully girly bits and back will stop hurting by then.

Friday-Last day at Microsoft. Do not like any Washington coworkers well enough to cry at going-away dinner, unless M. gets down on his knees and asks me out, or something equally unlikely. Considered alcoholic bender, but reconsidered when I heard Travis is playing at Diablo. So, Diablo is my "I'm outta Microsoft" celebration if anyone wants to show up.

Saturday-sleep in. Plan attack on Great New Job that starts Monday.
